Contemporary Lilyfield Renovation with Architectural Detail

Located in Sydney’s Inner West suburb, Lilyfield, this two-storey home was renovated into a three-storey residence with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a double garage.

The works included the addition of a new upper level with a bedroom and study nook, a new roof, and a three-metre automatic skylight to bring natural light into the home. The floor plan was reconfigured to create an open-plan living and kitchen area, featuring a brand new kitchen and bench for sitting, a large bi-fold doors that connect to the outdoor entertaining space, and a compact laundry nook built under the stairs to maximise space.

Upstairs features two bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, along with new louvres and sliding windows to improve ventilation. The bathrooms were updated with high-quality tiles and fittings to complement the home’s contemporary and modern design.

Architectural details include the automatic skylight, large sliding windows and doors, and custom joinery finished in a blue and white palette with brass accents.

The house is to be completed in early 2025.
